There is nothing too exciting in the article but, for me, it brings up a few important questions. So far, with his signings of Joe Cole, Paul Konchesky, Christian Poulsen and Raul Meireles, Roy has proven useless at improving the squad. Roy has also been a tactical failure which has shown in losing to the likes of Blackpool, Everton and Stoke. What is Hodgson good for, at this point? He can't handle the transfer market and can't figure out how to get this team to play at a top level consistently. Normally, I would give a coach the benefit of the doubt coming into a new club that is in utter disarray like Liverpool, but right now, LFC can't afford to wait for Hodgson to get his act together if they want to stay out of the relegation zone. To me, a loss or draw to West Ham on Saturday is the nail in the coffin for Hodgson.
