This is brilliant news for Liverpool. Carroll has looked somewhat out of sorts for most of his time thus far at Liverpool thanks largely to that nagging thigh injury. So, instead of taking part in the tournament in Denmark, Carroll will continue to work on his conditioning at Anfield. The young striker should be in wonderful form come August and ready to terrorize Premier League defenders. Just what we'll need if we want to win the Premier League next season.
