It seems like the young fullback has made the switch to Portuguese giant Sporting Lisbon. Until the move is announced officially by the clubs, there is no word on whether it is a permanent switch or another loan. Insua leaving Liverpool isn't a surprise. The surprise is that this move came out of no where and was completely under the radar. I had completely forgotten about Insua until his tweet popped up in my feed. Considering that Insua is ony 22, has showed promise, I'd love for this move to be just a loan and to see Insua return to Anfield after gaining more experience in Portugal. Whatever the details, good luck to the young Argentine. It will be good to see him getting first team minutes with a top team.
