I just wanted to introduce myself - I'm new to SB Nation, having joined at the behest of my boyfriend, a former Chelsea fan who I converted to being a Liverpool supporter. I finally decided to stop reading over his shoulder and actually get my own account. In any case - I've been a Liverpool fan since 2001, have visited Anfield twice, and disturb my upstairs neighbor by getting up early on weekends to watch the games and yell at the TV. When I was a teacher, I hung up my This Is Anfield sign next to the door in the classroom so the students could touch it as they left. I would have done it over the door, but they wouldn't have been able to reach it, short little monsters that they are. Heh.

Nice to meet you all - hope this season continues to suck less than last season! Looking forward to seeing where we are when Gerrard gets back to match fitness - though I wonder how he's going to work with Charlie Adam, who I've really enjoyed despite a lackluster last few games. Lots to be excited about, though...
