City have had more possession. Liverpool have had all the chances. City’s possession has been mostly around the half.

It's a tough one
Could go either way for me. It is 50/50 whether you get that since it deflected off his foot onto his arm while he was sliding.
Either way, he was a bit unlucky.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Agreed
His arms were forward in a way making a bigger “block” in front of the onrushing Red (Agger again?).

Bells, Adam, Suarez, Kuyt, among others
have in the past been very effective there. Don’t know why they couldn’t early this season.

Halftime
Good half by Liverpool. Completely in control except for a fluke goal.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Park the bus now?
I don’t think quite yet.

Great half
Kenny’s really must have put his size 12 up their asses. Liverpool were in complete control with most of City’s possession in very nonthreatening areas of the pitch.
The penalty was a bit harsh on Richards, but Liverpool were definitely deserving of a goal.
I hope Kenny doesn’t try to park the bus, or Airbus, like last time.
Bellamy needs to play alone up top more often. He is harrassing the City back 4 and forcing them into bad decisions and errant passes.
Downing has made a few good runs and has hustled relentlessly. He is looking like the Downing of the first few games of the season.
Stevie G = class
Adam playing very well. He and Gerrard are switching back and forth as the holding mid, but Adam is staying further back. He is passing has been quite good tonight.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
And a foul on Dzeko in the box
but he got away with it
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Yes.
He kicked him from behind in the ankle. Ball was gone from Dzeko’s foot and no one really complained for it surprisingly. Adam was going for the ball, he just went through Dzeko’s foot to try to get it.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Agreed...
he had to have a lapse in judgment to just be in the box defensively.
http://sportsandgrits.com/
Our best set going forward...
Bells and Suarez up front. Gerrard in the hole behind them. Downing wide left. ? wide right (Henderson or Kuyt I guess). With Lucas as holding mid (or Spearing since he’s out). And then the standard back 4, with maybe Kelly for Johnson or perhaps Kelly with Johnson playing wide right in attack (since he’s better there than Hendo or Kuyt).

about 2' in he fouled Barry
I thought it was a bit harsh as there was no malice and it was only about 2’ in.

Man City had like 190 million dollars(pounds?) in 'buys' playing
And Hart cost what? 250k?
Bye Travis and thanks for 2010! Good luck with the Brewers!
It's amazing how undervalued some of the Prem keepers are when they came to their clubs.
Swansea City’s Michel Vorm only cost 1.5 million pounds. He’s been brilliant this season.

Yes
So many critisized Kenny and company for signing him saying he was washed up.
How many goals is that for him on the season?
Even if he was, for free it's worth it
but he’s been nowhere near washed up. He had 11 goals last year for Cardiff, and I think 8 for us so far this year (counting FA, EPL, and Carling).

Ok, so what was that about away goals
if we’re tied at the end of 90, it goes to extra time. And if it’s tied on aggregate at the end of 120, then what?

then away goals count
So there would be no penalties
