Kenny: No movement will happen in the rest of the transfer window
Could be bluffing, but he seems comfortable with the team as it stands right now.

False Comfort
I know that we did the Manc brace in the past week, but we have really struggled in matches where there was not an elimination on the line. Also, we have caught some very fortunate luck in the past week or two. Man City and MUFC were missing key players that I feel would have drastically effected the outcomes of the cup matches.
I hope this means one of two things:
-Kenny is bs’ing everyone and they have something lined up for tomorrow, not likely but I can always dream.
-Or that this means that the youngsters will get more of a run. The likes of Raheem, Kelly, Suso, Coates, and Coady are all chomping at the bit.
What I fear is that complacency in this window will cause us to miss out on 4th – 6th position in the table. Yes we will get Luis back after tomorrow, but Spurs and Arsenal are looking stronger and we continue to coast by.
I am hoping that match fatigue was causing Luis’s lack of finishing before his 8 match ban. Hope he get’s that back.
Hearing that summer will be a lot more busy for us, Texeria, Marko Martin, etc are all on our radar.
I guess the good thing is that players are generally cheaper over the sumer
I definitely want to see more of the youngsters, but a 4th place finish is a must.

McCarthy rejected Kenny request

Kenny apparently requested to play the Wolves match on Wednesday due to some last minute transfer business.
Not sure if this lends creedence to the fact that his statements may be a “smokescreen”. I think it could be either way, I am sure this would not prohibit LFC from doing business tomorrow if they want to.
This could also be due to the fact that we played Man U and City on very little rest.
