Seriously why no Shelvey
I would gladly trade Adam for Shelvey.

Prolly a 4-3-3
And they think Hendo is enough of an attacker that adding Shelvey too would be too aggressive.
Anybody know if Gerrard really hurt him hammy?
Or is that just a rumor I heard?

Bellamy missed three open guys in the box just then...
… and that’s after shooting from a poor angle 45 yards out for an easy save. Come one, Craig, look for your partners.
Great save off the corner from Agger’s header.

So why do I get the sinking feeling this is going to be another one of those games where, between missing chances, an opposing goalkeeper playing world class football and the flukey goal, we lose 1-0?
Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
It looks exactly like all of "those games"

But no striker needed in January Window!
Great move by Hendo.
Saved by Hennessey. Never really troubling the goal.

Actually don't think finishing is the problem this time...
… we’re putting shots on net, but from distance and poor angles. We need better crossing and through balls to generate some more clear cut chances.
TRANSFER NEWS!!!!!!!
Liverpool can confirm that goalkeeper Martin Hansen has tonight left the club after being transferred to Danish side Viborg FF. The 21-year-old joined the Reds’ Academy in the summer of 2006 from Brondby. Liverpool Football Club wishes Martin all the best for his future.
And Kenny said nothing would happen!
Never argue with an idiot. They'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
I think he said nothing with the 1st team would happen.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Halftime thoughts
-Should have had a penalty on a great move by Adam off a perfect pass from Bellamy
-It wouldn’t have mattered since Stevie isn’t on the pitch
-Johnson looks very shaky. Might need Kelly.
-Bellamy looks like our best player
-Carroll has looked decent. It has been feast of famine today for him, some great layoffs followed by some awful touches/passes.
-Enrique has done well, but hasn’t done much for the attack since midway through the half.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
I really want to see Bellamy up top in a typical 4-4-2
This isn’t working and there is no way Carroll is going to get space with 4 guys marking just him.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
And I can't believe we essentially traded Miereles for Henderson
Hendo hasn’t played poorly, but he is not even close to being the CAM that Miereles was for us.
"The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game" -Bill Shankly
Apparently somebody at Goodison ran onto the field and handcuffed himself to Joe Hart’s goal. Odd one that.

Here we go again
No changes at half.

Did he actually know about the goal?
Or was it one of those where a defender tries to clear it and it hits him in the back of the head and rolls in the net? I’m actually half serious here.

Everton 1-0 Chelsea

You mean, Swansea 1 - 0 over Chelsea.
Everton up 1 – 0 on Man City.

You’re right, of course.
Is it wrong as a LFC fan that my hate for Everton has waned to the point where I’ll root for them over MCFC (or MUFC or Chelsea)?

Since a MCFC loss helps Man United, yes you are wrong.
