I am sure all of us share Ian Ayre's opinion on Dave Whelan but am I the only one who feels this could have been handled in a more dignified manner officially by the club? I am not even sure if there was something that needed to be handled, the issue had already been dead and buried with most of the media and Twitter going amok with Dave Whelan jokes. Another example of a PR faux pas that could have been so easily avoided!
