What do you guys think of the signing? (Assuming it goes through).
Really good read.
Cruel interview with Rafa after he was booed in first match with Chelsea.
As if we needed this for our already thin squad. Looks like Enrique gets a chance to find his form again.
Those numbers are meaningless if Borini cannot translate that form into the Premier League, of course. But at the age of 21 and after just four Premier League games, it is far too early to write off the £10 million as an act of folly by Rodgers. The young Italian is a player the manager is familiar with and knows his capabilities, both mentally and physically. Though Rodgers has little choice given the striking scarcity, he's already proven he will be patient with his player. It's time for some in the stands to do so too. Some rightfully shout for patience. It's time to start listening.
If this was true, it looks like we are in full desperation mode now. However, understand it does say the SkySports does not think this is the case.
It might not be as bad as we all think. Here's a good read from Paul Tomkins
He claims there was no contact, I just thought it was minimal. Can't see him winning this.
"Southampton have had a bid of €15 million accepted for Bologna winger Gaston Ramirez, beating off competition from Liverpool and Tottenham." To think, we could of had Ramirez for €15 million. Seems like a reasonable and doable price tag.
