Varying reports if it's done or not. Earlier, it was reporte Joe Allen is now a Red after a couple weeks of rumors. Transfer fee of £13.5m. See the link for details. But keep in mind that link is Goal.com, and that can mean anything. UPDATE: Apparently it is not true and Swansea are quite upset that Rodgers and Liverpool are trying to poach a player releasing this statement, "Swansea City can confirm that Liverpool have expressed an interest in Joe Allen, despite a written agreement with Liverpool not to approach any players within the 12-month period of former manager Brendan Rodgers leaving for Anfield."

A great article on BusinessWeek on Fenway Group
So he's "reopened the racial row" now. Sad to hear how much Suarez suffered. I hate Man United even more now, if that was at all possible. Having said that, time he learned to say - "That's all in the past, I've moved on now." Will be better for him and everyone else, I think.
Not much to go on here, just a source saying Andy wants to prove himself at Anfield. And it might not even be up to him. If a manager wants to freeze you out, he'll freeze you out. But it's at least encouraging and what I want to hear that Andy wants to prove he can be a part of this. I hope he's given something of a chance to do so.
See the link for the list. Looks like Lucas will be making the trip. That's great news.

Liverpool Football Club can today confirm that Maxi Rodriguez has joined Newell's Old Boys in Argentina. Maxi Letter to LFC Fans: Dear Reds, I am leaving Liverpool FC today. Before signing for LFC, I just saw the club as one of the greatest institutions in football. After my time here I can confirm that this is not just a great club but also a great family. I have tried to give everything every day that I was wearing the LFC crest. It has been a great honour to defend this shirt during two and a half years. I am returning home with a suitcase full of great memories, good friends within the team and also within this great family that works every day in the club. Thanks a lot for your support. You can NOT imagine what a great honour it was for me when the Kop sang, 'Maxi, Maxi Rodríguez runs down the wing for me da da da da dada...' Hasta la vista. Maxi
Well I guess we know one cog that fits into BR's plan. Either that or he is trying to field the ugliest starting XI ever.
This is an audio of the 18 min radio press conference where Rodgers mentions the "exciting signing" etc. Let the interpretations begin..
